Την τρίτη υψηλότερη αναλογία δικαιούχων προσωρινής προστασίας από την Ουκρανία σε σχέση με τον πληθυσμό κατέγραψε η Κύπρος στα τέλη Ιουλίου 2026, με 26,7 δικαιούχους ανά 1.000 κατοίκους, σύμφωνα με στοιχεία που δημοσίευσε την Πέμπτη η Eurostat. Υψηλότερη αναλογία από την Κύπρο καταγράφηκε στην Τσεχία, με 36,2 δικαιούχους ανά 1.000 κατοίκους, και στη Σλοβακία, με 27,5, ενώ ο μέσος όρος στην ΕΕ ήταν 9,8 ανά 1.000 κατοίκους. Σε σύγκριση με το τέλος Ιουνίου 2026, ο αριθμός των δικαιούχων προσωρινής προστασίας στην Κύπρο μειώθηκε κατά 110 άτομα ή 0,4%. Η Κύπρος ήταν μία από τις μόλις τρεις χώρες της ΕΕ με διαθέσιμα στοιχεία όπου καταγράφηκε μείωση, μαζί με την Πολωνία και τη Γαλλία. Στα 4,43 εκατ. οι δικαιούχοι στην ΕΕ Στις 31 Ιουλίου 2026, συνολικά 4,43 εκατ. πολίτες τρίτων χωρών που είχαν εγκαταλείψει την Ουκρανία λόγω του πολέμου διέθεταν καθεστώς προσωρινής προστασίας στην ΕΕ. Σε σχέση με το τέλος Ιουνίου, ο αριθμός τους αυξήθηκε κατά 19.945 άτομα ή 0,5%. Τους περισσότερους δικαιούχους φιλοξενούσε η Γερμανία, με 1.290.225 άτομα, που αντιστοιχούσαν στο 29,1% του συνόλου της ΕΕ. Ακολουθούσαν η Πολωνία με 953.060 άτομα ή 21,5% και η Τσεχία με 395.225 ή 8,9%. Σύμφωνα με την Eurostat, στις 31 Ιουλίου οι Ουκρανοί πολίτες αντιπροσώπευαν περισσότερο από το 98,5% του συνόλου των δικαιούχων προσωρινής προστασίας στην ΕΕ. Προσωπικοί Ιατροί μοιράζονται τις εμπειρίες τους και μιλούν για την πρόληψη, τη φροντίδα και τη σημασία της δημιουργίας σχέσης εμπιστοσύνης με τους δικαιούχους Επτά χρόνια μετά την εφαρμογή του ΓεΣΥ, ο Προσωπικός Ιατρός συνεχίζει να αποτελεί το πρώτο σημείο επαφής των δικαιούχων με το Σύστημα. Η πανδημία του COVID-19 ανέδειξε με αδιαμφισβήτητο τρόπο τη σημασία του θεσμού του Προσωπικού Ιατρού και επιβεβαίωσε τον καταλυτικό του ρόλο στην προστασία της δημόσιας υγείας. Σήμερα, οι πολίτες γνωρίζουν ότι μπορούν να απευθύνονται στον Προσωπικό τους Ιατρό ο οποίος, έχοντας πλήρη γνώση του ιατρικού τους ιστορικού, μπορεί να τους παρέχει συνεχή, εξατομικευμένη και ολοκληρωμένη φροντίδα και να τους καθοδηγεί κατάλληλα εντός του Συστήματος. Σε συνέχεια της υλοποίησης της εκστρατείας ενημέρωσης «Πάρε την υγεία σου Προσωπικά», η οποία ανέδειξε τον σημαντικό ρόλο του Προσωπικού Ιατρού στο ΓεΣΥ, ο Οργανισμός Ασφάλισης Υγείας (ΟΑΥ) προχώρησε στη διενέργεια δεύτερης φάσης της εκστρατείας, αναγνωρίζοντας την ανάγκη για συνεχή ενημέρωση και επιμόρφωση δικαιούχων και παροχέων σε σχέση με τη σημαντικότητα του θεσμού του Προσωπικού Ιατρού στο ΓεΣΥ, καθώς και τη σημασία της δημιουργίας ουσιαστικής σχέσης εμπιστοσύνης και επικοινωνίας μεταξύ Προσωπικών Ιατρών και δικαιούχων. Η νέα φάση της εκστρατείας περιλάμβανε νέα τηλεοπτικά και ραδιοφωνικά μηνύματα, καθώς και στοχευμένες δράσεις στα Μέσα Κοινωνικής Δικτύωσης, ενισχύοντας περισσότερο την απήχηση της. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, πραγματοποιήθηκε επίσης νέα σειρά podcasts, με στόχο την πληρέστερη ενημέρωση των δικαιούχων του ΓεΣΥ για τον ρόλο του Προσωπικού Ιατρού. Μέσα από τα podcasts, οι ίδιοι οι Προσωπικοί Ιατροί μοιράζονται σκέψεις, εμπειρίες και πραγματικά περιστατικά από την καθημερινή ιατρική πρακτική, αναδεικνύοντας στην πράξη τη συμβολή τους στην πρόληψη, την έγκαιρη διάγνωση και τη συνολική φροντίδα της υγείας των πολιτών. Ο Προσωπικός Ιατρός: · γνωρίζει το ιατρικό ιστορικό του ασθενούς και προσεγγίζει ολιστικά την υγεία του, · αντιμετωπίζει τον ασθενή πρωτίστως ως άνθρωπο, αναγνωρίζοντας τις πραγματικές του ανάγκες, · καθοδηγεί υπεύθυνα τον ασθενή, παραπέμποντάς τον στη διενέργεια των απαραίτητων ιατρικών εξετάσεων και χορηγώντας του την κατάλληλη φαρμακευτική αγωγή, όπου χρειάζεται. · δίνει ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στην πρόληψη και βρίσκεται διαρκώς δίπλα στον δικαιούχο. Τη σημασία της ουσιαστικής επικοινωνίας μεταξύ ασθενούς και Προσωπικού Ιατρού αναδεικνύει στο podcast ο Προσωπικός Ιατρός Δρ. Μιχάλης Σαββίδης. Όπως σημειώνει, οι τακτικές επισκέψεις συμβάλλουν στην οικοδόμηση μιας ισχυρής σχέσης εμπιστοσύνης. Ο ίδιος τονίζει ότι, επτά χρόνια μετά την εφαρμογή του ΓεΣΥ, η σχέση αυτή ενισχύεται διαρκώς, με τους δικαιούχους να εμπιστεύονται ολοένα και περισσότερο τον Προσωπικό τους Ιατρό. «Πολλές φορές οι ασθενείς μας τηλεφωνούν για να συζητήσουμε τα αποτελέσματα εξετάσεων που έχουν πραγματοποιήσει κατόπιν σύστασης Ειδικών Ιατρών, ζητώντας παράλληλα και τη δική μας αξιολόγηση. Αυτό αποτελεί ένδειξη της εμπιστοσύνης που έχει αναπτυχθεί μεταξύ μας», αναφέρει χαρακτηριστικά. Από την πλευρά του ο Προσωπικός Ιατρός Δρ. Πέτρος Κατσιολούδης υπογραμμίζει ότι η σχέση εμπιστοσύνης που αναπτύσσεται μεταξύ ιατρού και ασθενούς είναι πολύτιμη και αποτελεί τη βάση για αποτελεσματικότερη φροντίδα. Παράλληλα, επισημαίνει τη σημασία της πρόληψης, εξηγώντας πως όταν ο ασθενής εμπιστεύεται τον ιατρό του, είναι πιο πιθανό να ακολουθήσει τις ιατρικές οδηγίες, με θετικό αντίκτυπο στην υγεία του. Προτρέπει παράλληλα τους δικαιούχους να επισκέπτονται τακτικά τον Προσωπικό τους Ιατρό. Επίσης, ο ρόλος του Παιδιάτρου δεν περιορίζεται στην αντιμετώπιση μιας ασθένειας, αλλά αποτελεί βασικό πυλώνα της προληπτικής φροντίδας και της παρακολούθησης της υγείας του παιδιού, αναφέρει από την δική της πλευρά η Δρ Αναστασία Συμεού, Παιδίατρος, σημειώνοντας ότι ο Προσωπικός Ιατρός γνωρίζει το παιδί, παρακολουθεί την ανάπτυξη και την εξέλιξή του και βρίσκεται δίπλα του σε κάθε στάδιο. Τονίζει παράλληλα τη σημασία των προγραμματισμένων επισκέψεων, της σωστής ενημέρωσης των γονέων και, ιδιαίτερα, της συνέπειας στους εμβολιασμούς, υπογραμμίζοντας ότι η προσωπική επαφή γιατρού και παιδιού παραμένει απαραίτητη. Όπως εξήγησε, η τηλεφωνική επικοινωνία μπορεί να είναι χρήσιμη για απλές οδηγίες, όμως δεν μπορεί να αντικαταστήσει την κλινική εξέταση, καθώς μια διάγνωση δεν είναι δυνατόν να γίνεται με ασφάλεια από το τηλέφωνο. Συνεχής ενίσχυση του θεσμού Για τον Οργανισμό Ασφάλισης Υγείας, η συνεχής ενίσχυση του θεσμού του Προσωπικού Ιατρού αποτελεί αδιαπραγμάτευτη προτεραιότητα. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, ο ΟΑΥ έχει προχωρήσει σε σημαντικές παρεμβάσεις, μεταξύ των οποίων η εφαρμογή νέων δεικτών απόδοσης και ποιοτικών κριτηρίων στην αμοιβή των Προσωπικών Ιατρών, η επέκταση των Κλινικών Κατευθυντήριων Οδηγιών και η εφαρμογή κριτηρίων για την ορθολογική παραπομπή ασθενών προς τους Ειδικούς Ιατρούς. Παράλληλα, η υπηρεσία τηλεφωνικής εξυπηρέτησης επιτρέπει στους δικαιούχους να επικοινωνούν άμεσα με τον Προσωπικό τους Ιατρό, ενώ το σύστημα επειγόντων παραπεμπτικών που έχει εφαρμοστεί, διασφαλίζει την ταχύτερη πρόσβαση σε Ειδικό Ιατρό στις περιπτώσεις όπου, βάσει της κατάστασης της υγείας του δικαιούχου, απαιτείται άμεση παροχή φροντίδας. Τα μέτρα αυτά στοχεύουν στην περαιτέρω ενίσχυση της αποτελεσματικότητας και της λειτουργικότητας του ΓεΣΥ και της βελτίωσης της εξυπηρέτησης του ασθενή. Βασικός στόχος του ΟΑΥ παραμένει η περαιτέρω εδραίωση του Προσωπικού Ιατρού ως σταθερού σημείου αναφοράς και διαχρονικής υποστήριξης για κάθε δικαιούχο. Η σχέση αυτή, θεμελιωμένη στην εμπιστοσύνη, τη συνεχή επικοινωνία και την ουσιαστική γνώση του ιστορικού και των αναγκών υγείας του δικαιούχου, μπορεί να συμβάλει καθοριστικά στην πρόληψη, στην έγκαιρη παρέμβαση και στην αποτελεσματικότερη διαχείριση της υγείας του.

DBRS Ratings GmbH (Morningstar DBRS) has changed the trend on both the Republic of Cyprus’ long-term and short-term foreign and local currency issuer ratings to ‘positive’ from ‘stable’ on the view that Cyprus will maintain its strong fiscal position and continue reducing its public debt burden.
