Ο Δήμος Λευκωσίας ενημερώνει το κοινό ότι, στο πλαίσιο του έργου «Κατάλληλη Κατασκευή Διαφόρων Οδών στη Λευκωσία – Συμβόλαιο 23 Κέντρο Πόλης», το οποίο υλοποιείται μέσω του Σχεδίου Ανάκαμψης και Ανθεκτικότητας Κύπρου και χρηματοδοτείται από τον Μηχανισμό Ανάκαμψης και Ανθεκτικότητας της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης (NextGenerationEU), οι πιο κάτω οδοί αναμένεται να δοθούν εκ νέου στην κυκλοφορία ως ακολούθως: • Οδός Κυπράνορος –24 Ιουνίου 2026. • Οδός Καλαβρύτων –15 Ιουλίου 2026. • Οδοί Ορφέως και Νάξου (Β΄ Μέρος) –11 Αυγούστου 2026. • Οδός Κρήτης και Οδός Φιλιππιάδος –11 Αυγούστου 2026. Στις κρατήσεις της τελευταίας στιγμής και στον εσωτερικό τουρισμό προσβλέπουν οι ξενοδόχοι της Λεμεσού, για αύξηση στον αριθμό κρατήσεων, δήλωσε στο ΚΥΠΕ ο Πρόεδρος του Συνδέσμου Ξενοδόχων Λεμεσού, Χρίστος Τσάνος, ο οποίος κάλεσε την Κυβέρνηση να στηρίξει πρακτικά την ξενοδοχειακή βιομηχανία. Όπως ανέφερε ο κ. Τσάνος, μέχρι τις 31 Μαΐου, όπως και σε άλλες επαρχίες, η Λεμεσός κατέγραψε περίπου 30% μείωση στις κρατήσεις, σε σύγκριση με το 2025, ενώ μετά και τις θετικές εξελίξεις σε σχέση με τον πόλεμο Ιράν-ΗΠΑ, καθώς και την αναθεώρηση των ταξιδιωτικών οδηγιών χωρών, ο Ιούνιος, όπως είπε, έδειξε ενθαρρυντικά στοιχεία, καθώς το ποσοστό κρατήσεων είναι τώρα μειωμένο γύρω στο 20%. «Αναμένουμε ότι τον Ιούλιο θα βοηθήσουν οι κρατήσεις της τελευταίας στιγμής και πως ο Αύγουστος θα ενισχυθεί και από τον εσωτερικό τουρισμό», είπε ο Πρόεδρος του Συνδέσμου Ξενοδόχων Λεμεσού, εκφράζοντας την ελπίδα ότι το ποσοστό πληρότητας θα είναι σε καλύτερα επίπεδα από όσο αρχικά υπολογιζόταν. Πέρσι, συνέχισε, ο μέσος όρος πληρότητας των ξενοδοχείων της Λεμεσού ήταν γύρω στο 80%, ενώ «υπολογίζουμε ότι φέτος θα βρισκόμαστε γύρω στο 60-65%».
